Returning to reading

I used to read many books but over the last few years I drifted away, doing most of my reading online. When the Kindle app for iPhone came out, I decided to give it a try. I read a couple of novels and really enjoyed it. I was surprised that I was comfortable reading for a few hours on an iphone. So I started researching dedicated ereaders. All had deal breakers for me, so I went with the Kindle 2. I like it, but no more than I like the iphone.

What I have found is that I read with much greater comprehension when I read electronically. I think its because I don't skim pages. I actually read what is in front of me.

Hi Melzbelz, that's interesting you experience a book differently on an ereader. I feel the same thing about audio books. What a great era we live in!
