BD graphic prefixes
When a graphic is inserted into a BD file, BD uses two different prefixes the rename the file.
BdIm_ or pRnd_ Either or both can appear in any given file. The assignment seems to be random. Is this in someway controllable? I would prefer the BdIm_ as it easier to read and track in the html file. Any ideas? Thenks Charlie |

It seems to be connected with how the file is saved. Images exist as separate files called pRnd*** initially. But if the file is explicitly saved as a Book Designer file, the image and the text are bundled together and necessarily saved as a binary file. At that point the prnd's become bdim's and if you reopen the file later, although the text and the image are separated again in the 'Lastfile' directory, images continue to be referred to as bdim's ...
At least, I think that's how it seems to work ... bob |
