Linux Noob looking for Ubuntu download button

I've swapped my internet browsing (including e-books) computer to Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope, and wanted to download the Ubuntu version of Calibre.

I can't find the button on the page. I really, REALLY hate to post such a dumb question, but--where is it?

Thanks,

Clair

just copy paste the following command into a terminal and press Enter:

sudo python -c "import urllib2; exec urllib2.urlopen('http://status.calibre-ebook.com/linux_installer').read(); main()"

Now I have this message:

ImportError: No module named sipconfig

sudo apt-get install calibre

DO NOT seriously think of using this old outdated version (6.13)
This is one of the few times I recommend against using the repository version.

Use the command landix gave and accept the default "/opt" unless you have pressing reasons to choose otherwise.

You will be asked to supply the sudo password as part of the install (same as if you had used apt-get)

semi-OT:
well, I use it (though I only used it for a short time and not with many books), and really didn't have complaints :-) So I never checked the version..

And I usually try to keep to repository versions, because you tend to have less trouble with these when you upgrade the OS etc...

If you can hold out a bit longer, lucid will have 6.42 ;-)
