A great deal for Canadians as long as the custom brokerage fees are reasonable. I've been stung by a $40 custom brokerage fee + duty + GST + PST on a previous deal.
Does anyone know which shipping company they use for Canada?

I just picked up the 505 from Borders...It is awesome.
My question is that I also have a 500 and was wondering if I have to download the software for the 505 for the library or is the old 500 software good.
Also with regard to PDF's on the 505 and reading them, do I have to download any software, such as the Adobe Reader?

Thanks for bring this Borders deal to everyone attention..and thanks in advance for any hints on the above.

yes you will want to download Adobe Digital Editions.

Not sure about the 500 vs 505 software though.

Yes, it's available for shipment to Canada. Shipping is only $5.98 via DHL. We will have to pay brokerage and tax but they are NOT using the dreaded UPS so the brokerage fee will be tolerable. Beats paying $349 plus tax at a Sony Store.
