6" EZ Reader Plus Now On Sale
EZ Read Fans,

Many of you have been waiting for the new 6" EZ Read Plus, and I'd like to officially announce that the device is now for sale on our website!

It's faster, supports more formats than ever, and is sleek and light with a fabulous grayscale screen. If you haven't yet purchased an EZ Reader, this would be an excellent choice. We still have our classic looking leather case, earbuds, and an unholy amount of storage (16 GB!).

It is priced at $189, and comes ready to support all of your favorite eBooks from any bookstore you choose. Choice is important, especially to me, which is one of the reasons I love the EZ Reader.

Hi Jenifer, the link to firmware on the EZ Reader Plus page is not for this device. It is for the older 6" EZ Reader Basic.

The device for sale already has the latest edition of Firmware available on the EZ Reader. We don't have a new Firmware download because there has not been any updates to the already brand-new Plus.

There should be a banner on www.astak.com that links to the product if you can't connect. Essentially, any 6" EZ Reader will be now be a "Plus" edition, so no matter what link you follow to purchase, it will be the latest model.

There's "6" EZ Reader in Black" $189. So this is the "Plus"? Not the Mentor? I do not want the old Mentor. And the sales page is really confusing.

Yes, I am aware. However, there is a link on the information page described in your previous post. Follow it yourself to see it, that does indicate that there is a firmware upgrade available. This link should be removed. There are too many confusing things on the site already.

Is this the same old one except the firmware upgrade?

If you look at the eBook Matrix on the Wiki and compare the Hanlin V3 (old EZ Reader) to the V3+ (EZ Reader Plus) you can compare all the differences...

Perhaps it is the same thing DaleDe is talking about, but what's with the "Get your Adobe Digital Editions Firmware here" button on the EZ Plus page? Why wouldn't ADE already be on the unit?
