I take some photographs but I prefer using my DSLR. The image quality and control is worth the extra weight (IMHO).

The PBM still has negatives and slides around they want to digitize.

Nope. By the time I developed a desire to take a photo or two (in my thirties), digital cameras already existed. In my younger years I had absolutely no interest in photography.

PBM prefers blue or green colors to reds and yellows.

I should bow out of this question since I suffer from red-green deficiency. Basically, when I look at the Ishihara test images, the only one I read is the one that basically says you can see. My colour vision is not good enough to see the normal vision images and not bad enough to see the red-green blind images. See Ishihara test.

The PBM does not have any vision problems.

Extreme nearsightedness since childhood.

PBM has deficiencies in one of their senses (sight, hearing, smell etc.)

True. I've never been attracted to any water activities, even as a child. Perhaps because of my vision problems (as I can't wear my glasses in water, I'm basically blind there - everything is just one big blur, I can't see anything and I hate it).

PBM has skied at some point in their life.
