Search using custom column

I just can't figure out using a search field that doesn't appear in the tag browser.

Column heading: Me Read
Lookup name: meread
Column type: Date
Format for Dates: YYYY mm

I cannot find a way to use this column in a search that doesn't yield either all books or no books. When I want unread books. I can use not to swap around.

#meread:true

if you hover over a column title, it chows the the name to use in a search.

my example is a simple: has a date
see the Calibre (search) Help pages for other allowed 'Date' type search terms

Thanks. Confirmed using #meread. This leads to #meread:>1000 to get rows with a date.

Well, I could use <4000, but then I'd have to change it when we get to the year 4000.
