Anyone else experiencing a "System Error" at Fictionwise

...like, right now. It wants my password/email, but they already have it. And yet, I can still see my items in my cart. I can't delete or buy them. Trying to buy them brings up the "System Error."

Anyone else?

Usually, I don't have to log in, but today it wants me to log in, to see my Bookshelf. Since you had a problem, I didn't bother. Maybe their server is messed up.

I think so. I just tried to log in, and it said 'The login information you provided was incorrect'. Yeah, right. It was filled in automatically by Firefox

Looks like their authentication system has gone belly-up.

Same here, been over an hour.

Can see bookshelf, but not download any books (wants me to re-login, which it won't accept). Also, you may be able to see your cart, but it won't accept any new entries (at least, mine won't).

I hope it is fixed today, I wanted to buy a couple of books (and was out of town with no access until today, so could not do this earlier in the week).

I emailed them, but expect no reply (probably ever, they way they have been going). Even if someone had a phone number, I suspect it would be ignored until tomorrow, when the sale is over.

Same problem here - can't log in.

I'd guess that whatever server or process does the authentication has fallen over, and so it never says "yes, that's the right password".

Same thing here. For the people that can't login, this is what I did:

1. Click the authentication screen w/ your ID and password, get the error message.

2. Do it again.

3. Click on your cart, it showed my cart with the micropay, so I knew I was logged in.

4. Go to bookshelf. Everything was there and it all worked fine.

Hope that helps someone.

No, but I have had trouble at MobiPocket. It wouldn't accept my credit card, so I bought my books from FictionWise. They were cheaper there anyway!
