Auxiliary content? (with linear="no" in <spine>)
http://www.idpf.org/epub/20/spec/OPF...htm#Section2.4
In the ePub specifications, in "Spine", you can define if a content is auxiliary, not displayed/skiped by the Readers, but accessible via a link elsewhere in the text. This is defined by the property linear="no", but I can't find anything in Sigil for this feature. Not implemented? or where else? |

You're quite free to add 'linear= "no"' to spine entries in the opf file. Sigil won't complain. There is no button that will add it for you however; if that's what you're looking for. Nor will Sigil "skip" the presentation of said material in Book View/Preview. That behavior wouldn't make sense in an editor. Especially one that has no sequential "paging" ability.

Okay, that was to make sure.
I thought is more of add aoption with the left click on an element, much like "Add Semantic" would be a good idea. And yes, it is logical that Sigil does not skip the auxiliary content. This property is for Readers, no a editor. |
