Anyone can help me?
The device Kindle 3rd gen. disconnects from Ubuntu when I send ebook via Calibre.
I keep seeing the device in Calibre but the device is off the computer.

I get this error report:

calibre, version 3.21.0
ERROR: Error: Error communicating with device

[Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/media/tarcizio/Kindle/'

You're running an outdated Calibre version.

Try with a current one, they include a workaround for a bad interaction with (eInk) Kindles, vfat, and recent Linux kernels.

For other people having this issue:

There are also open issues on launchpad tracking the same behaviour (i.e. 1834305 and 1843328).

This seems to happen in various Calibre versions.
