Add more column options to book list

This has probably been asked before but for those of us using Calibre to support multiple eBook readers in the family, especially if they are different types or a Kindles, it sure would be nice to be able to make the book's format one of the columns on the display list. That way you would be able to tell at a glance which books work on which device and for the Kindle would know whether you should download the book from the family's account at Amazon or get it from Calibre.

I often wished (in private) for a column called note where I could put in a short note or identifier that would be used as I needed.

On the wish list is the ability to have user-defined columns/data fields. When (if) that is likely to appear I do not know, but this seems the way to go so that users can extend the columns as they like.
