Special Offers question
I ordered a No-SO PW but I noticed in my account that I have the option to enable SO if I want. If I enable it and then decide to disable later, will they try to charge the one-time fee even though I paid for the No SO version?

This is all I could find on their help page:

If you start out with a non-SO Kindle and choose to enable the offers there isn't any charge for you to disable it again later. I've changed the setting a few times without any problem.

I wouldnt think that would be right. I have K3 I got before they started SO. I wanted to get rid of the DA so I switched no extra cost.

The ability to opt in and out of special offers at will is the reason why I always tell people to buy the special offers version first and then opt out later if they find the ads to be intrusive. This way, if you don't mind the special offers, you'll only have paid the special offers price, and if you do mind the special offers, you can just pay the difference to opt out later on.
