non admin users
Hi
I am sure this must have cropped up before, but I cannot find an answer... I have calibre library in my documents, as admin user on pc. However, pc is shared and i want my wife to use calibre from her user account, (non admin) however, despite the desktop icon being on her desk, she cannot open calibre.... any thoughts? thanks |

Does she have read/write access to the library and Calibre's program folder?

I am thinking the Library should be in "Shared Documents" (or other, non-private folder)
I am also thinking that the user(id) folder needs to be created for that user to contain the settings. I am not sure what happens IF you leave Caliber running, then switch users |
