Hi guys, I'm having the exact same issue as described by Caerus. I actually got terrible customer service from Kobo telling me I needed to buy a new device because it was done for... You guys seem to have found a way out! I'd definitely appreciate an image please!

Thanks! This actually worked and now I can see the books again. However now I have another issue where the books won't load (Kobo freezes on the Loading screen and never actually loads the books...) Anyone ever heard of this?

Edit: Actually found a solution to this, I had to Register my device using Adobe Digital Edition and it unlocked all books! hurray!

My dad`s kobo has gone wonky after the latest update. Can I please get this image?

Hello, I have a Kobo Wifi N289 and need a Firmware image for it.. If anyone can help that would be great. Tried to install Mark 2 firmware thinking that it was a Mark 2 but now i just get 7 black squares and a freeze on boot up. was on 1.9.12 and Kobo desktop app would not recognize the E-reader.

Any instructions on repairing it would be helpful as well!
