Seems like you have to have an android phone, or else you have to track down the developer wesbsite and get the files directly from them. At least that's what I understand from a similar question I posted.

Google Market (How To)
You cant neccesarily get the google market (I don't think)... But you can allow 3rd Party apps.
I downloaded Droid Comic Viewer that way. settings>more>device>allow installation of application > turn on then I just navigated to the app website that I wanted to install via on the kindle fire web browser and found the instalation and Ta- DAAA! Click for large view - Uploaded with Skitch |

What do you want in the Android Market that the Amazon Appstore doesn't have yet? I'm sure in time Amazon Appstore will have many more apps. I like having the quality control of Amazon.

Maybe apps such as Aldiko, Blockbuster, Google (their entire app suite), Nook, OverDrive, Sony Reader, Zinio, etc.

Also, Amazon apps require you to be connected to validate the app. |

Well, there are a couple of ways you can do that with the Android market: read the reviews, and check what permissions the app requests before you install it. Also, unless you have root, an app can't eff your device, though it could cost you money (but anybody with common sense would catch that app - a game that needs access to my contacts and permissions to make calls?). Even if you have root, you have to grant that access to the app when it runs, and anybody granting root access to an app they do not trust would be pretty damned stupid.

Amazon's store is kind of crappy. I like the free app of the day thing but when it comes to updates it lags behind. Take a look at ES file explorer. on amazon app store its version 1.4.xx in android market its 1.6.xx. So as pretty much any other app is not the latest version. Some Apps are missing like Evernote
