*.imp books from mobileread forum

Am I missing something? When I download one of the ebooks from this site, then try to download via myebookwise Personal Content, I get this error:

PCU Failure #4 - Unknown File Type.

Do I need to perform another step? I thought the .imp files were already in the correct format.
With thanks.

The personal content web site is for conversion and purchased content. It cannot be used to upload IMP files for download to the device.

Okay. Thank you... impserve does not seem friendly. ebook publisher doesn't make sense to me. Not to worry. I can find the ebooks I need elsewhere.

You can still move the books over to your eBook reader. You just can't do it by uploading them to the conversion web site. There are several solutions to moving the files to the reader. Most are covered in threads in this forum. One, for example, is to load them on your Smart card using a card reader.
