Link for the Desktop App (1.7+)

Does anyone have the link for the new desktop app that was supposed to be available today or is it wifi Kobo only?

Far as I know, the "target" was to release today. They might be slightly behind schedule. Even so, it's pretty early on in the day yet, so give it some time.

Also, as far as I know the release will be for non-wifi Kobo's as well, as I think the wifi Kobo's shipped with 1.7... But someone may correct me on that.

The Original Kobo should be getting it's update today. There was also a Wifi update scheduled for today that I know fixes a sleep problem. Now that being said, The Newspapers feature was supposed to come waaaay back, so anything is possible. I'd like to think Kobo has everything sorted out by now. Seeing as they have released their second product revision.

Ahh! Too many threads to search! Yesterday Sameer said that today's update would be for the new wifi Kobo only. After that gets rolled out they will turn to updating the original Kobo to as many of the new features as they can fit into the original memory size. So we don't have a features list, nor an expected delivery date. Patience, people, they only have so many programmers.

We're still on schedule for Monday, though depending on where you are in the world, there are different times when 'Monday' ends. Hopefully we will have it up before midnight Monday Eastern time
