Reading books online
Not sure where I would post this but I want to know if there is a web based interface ebook reader to read books online and features like bookmarking etc.

There are but you need a web based source for the eBooks. Check the wiki for a list of sites.

there are lots of free ebooks online in txt and html format, and all you need to read them is a web browser like firefox, internet explorer or opera. if you want to read current books, you can buy multiformat books at fictionwise and download the PDF versions if you have adobe reader or you can download the free mobipocket reader and have access to thousands and thousands of bestsellers, new and older books at places like booksonboard and fictionwise
