Reader with "Edit" capability.
Hi all, pardon my ignorance if that questions had been asked before,
are there any epub devices (e-ink) out there in which basic edit is part of the game? I need todo a lot of proof reading and using tablet / surface is kind of big and clunky - but works. - its minor - fixes from scans ! -> 1 ->i etc these kind of things \Pete Last edited by icq70610; 08-08-2017 at 05:06 AM. |

Agreed. Mark-up and annotate on the eInk device, then do the editing on a laptop (or whatever).

My guess is that part of the proofing is the formatting. |

Are you planning on re-inserting all the formatting by hand after editing the text file? Bold, italic, underline, colour, font size, line spacing, margins, working table of contents? etc. etc. etc.?

Don't forget recreating the CSS and having to insert the classes as well as the rest of the eBook structure. It will be a nightmare for something that doesn't need t be done.
