Empfehlenswerte Wörterbücher von Obreey?
Anfangsguthaben und Pocketbook-Gutschein haben mir zu einem Guthaben im Obreey-Store verholfen. Da ich das Pocketbook auch intensiv zum Sprachen lernen nutzen will, möchte ich das Guthaben vor allem in Wörterbücher investieren.

Ich finde im Shop nun zwei Wörterbücher für Englisch-Deutsch:
Collins (En-De) und Concise Oxford German Dictionary (En-De). Einige Wörter, die ich nachschlagen wollte, konnte ich schon nicht in den vorinstallierten Wörterbüchern finden. Wie sind Eure Erfahrungen? Kennt Ihr die Wörterbücher und welches könnt Ihr mir empfehlen?

Für Französisch scheint es nur das Lingvo x3 Mobile Fr-De zu geben. Hat jemand das und ist es ausreichend? Online benutze ich immer Leo.org für Französisch.

Außerdem würde mich noch Niederländisch interessieren.

Welche Wörter sind es denn? Ich habe beide gekauft mit den Gutschriften. Ich nutze hauptsächlich das Collins, da ich es vom T1 kenne. Das Oxford kann ich daher nicht beurteilen, weil ich es nicht aktiv gebrauche. Wenn du willst kann ich aber gerne eine Reihe von Wörtern nachschlagen und dir sagen, welches die meisten und qualitativ besten Treffer hat.

Französisch und Niederländisch beherrsche ich nicht. Könnte höchstens noch die Russischen prüfen.

Für meine PB benutze Ich nur kostenlose Wörterbücher. Es ist naemlich sehr einfach Wörterbücher aus anderen Formate zum dic-Format zu konvertieren, sehe (https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...2&postcount=69).

Eine gute Quelle für Wörterbücher (http://www.babylon.com/free-dictionaries/) sind die kostenlose Wörterbücher von Babylon. Wenn du möchtest könnte ich für dich einigen Wörterbücher konvertieren ins dic-Format.

@Sento: Danke für Dein Angebot, die Wörter nachzuschlagen. Ich hatte mir auch überlegt, die Gutschrift für die Wörterbücher zu verwenden. Ich werde am Wochenende mal Wörter aufschreiben, die ich im Wörterbuch nicht finden kann.

@dtanis: Du schreibst, es ist einfach, die Wörterbücher selbst zu konvertieren? Und wie bekommt man die Wörterbücher dann aufs Gerät? Wie schon gesagt, möchte ich gerne Bücher auf Englisch, Französisch und Niederländisch lesen, später evtl. auch Spanisch und Italienisch. Ich würde mich über Hilfe freuen

Es gibt einen dictionary Ordner auf dem Pocketbook, wo bereits Wörterbücher im *.dic Format liegen. Einfach dort reinkopieren, wenn du sie im richtigen Format hast.

ähem, darf ich hier vielleicht nochmal auf diesen fred hinweisen....ich finde das nämlich gar nicht einfach und scheitere ständig an was anderem.....

Ganz einfach dein Reader an der PC schließen und dass *.dic Datei nach dem Verzeichnis system/dictionaries auf interne Speicher des Readers kopieren. Denn Reader wieder von PC abschließen. Wenn du das Wörterbuch Programm start kannst du jetzt auch das neue konvertierte Wörterbuch wählen und benutzen.

Gibt es bei den kostenlosen auch welche, die vom Umfang her mit dem Oxford Concise Engl. Dictionary (nur Engl) mithalten können? Beim eingebauten Engl. Dictionary ist es mit etwas veralteten Wörtern nicht weit her. Ich brauche auch gar kein Engl-Dt Wörterbuch, mir wäre mur wichtig, dass möglichst viele ausgefallene bzw. ungebräuchliche Wörter enthalten sind. Ich lese derzeit ein paar Klassiker aus dem Gutenberg-Fundus bzw. auch ein paar "auf alt gemachte" historische Romane und da gibt es doch immer wieder mal ein paar Wörter, die mir nicht geläufig sind...
Wäre für einen Tipp dankbar :-)

Ich weiß nicht, ob es bei der Größe mithalten kann, aber das Wörterbuch von Webster 1913 hat zwei Vorteile beim Lesen von Klassikern:

1. Es kennt alte Wörter bzw. die alte Bedeutung von Wörtern.
2. Es ist in der Public Domain.

Das Webster ist doch schon vorinstalliert. Zumindest ist es bei mir auf dem Reader und ich habe es nicht selbst installiert.
