NVIDIA puts its Tegra 2 eggs in Android's basket....

Following Intel's recent announcement that its new Atoms will run only Android initially, NVIDIA is now saying that its new Tegra 2 will focus primarily on Android as well.

From Engadget:

"... Jen-Hsun Huang has now said that the second generation of Tegra will look to Android devices first and foremost. This newfound focus will materialize with both smartphones and tablets in the third and fourth quarter of this year...."

The rest of the year is shaping up to bring an avalanche of Android tablets. Hopefully, the 11" Holy Grail of tablets, with full browsing capabilities and open environment, for which some of us have been waiting for, will materialize soon.
