Often the plugin counts wrong (thousands of pages) and I have to restart Calibre several times until it counts correctly.

Otherwise, I would need a debug log to see what is happening. If it happens, and you can run calibre in debug mode and reproduce it, that would help. |

IIRC getting non-anglo formats is a PITA, you have to format with comma, replace commas with spaces, and then replace the dot with a comma. BR |

And for those of us who use non-anglo formats:
Code:
{:n} |

A small pedantic correction...
That basically means, "use the separator defined by the current locale". It is probably the best suggestion to use generally as it should work in most circumstances. But, getting a non-standard formats for the locale other than a comma, seems to be hard. I couldn't work it our when I saw this the other day. The simplest thing I could think of was to use a custom column with the formatting in the template. |

I played with this earlier today on Windows 10 and was able to get a space by changing the o/s level number formatting option to seperate groups of numbers by a space

Thanks from those whose native language is not English.
And it is not a correction at all, it is simply a contribution for others that can be useful. Last edited by jbacelar; 12-04-2018 at 02:48 AM. |

If you mean using "{:n}" works, then that is what I would expect. But, what I meant is that if you don't want to use the locale default, you can use a comma easily, but, getting any other character is hard. Or at least I couldn't work out how to do it without writing extra code.
But, if you have a simple way to do this, then I would be interested in seeing it. |
