A large selection of Faber and Faber titles free at Kobo
I recently found that Faber and Faber, an independent UK publisher, has a large selection (129 to be exact) of their books free on Kobo right now. Among them are Andrew Martin's Jim Stringer series including his most recent one released just this month. One I purchased a few weeks ago is now free as well. It was Hit and Run by Doug Johnstone and I highly recommend it. I've posted the link below to the search filtered by free only.

It's mostly poetry. Still not cheap enough!

I agree it is mostly poetry but a good selection of crime/mystery novels in there. I think I downloaded 9 or 10 crime/mystery/thriller novels.

I agree with HarryT - it's probably a mistake. I've emailed Kobo.
On the other hand, it's not unknown for a publisher to do a large promotion on ebooks in the hopes of boosting paper sales. |

Well if it is a mistake, I'm sure we'll find out soon enough. I've never seen the error message that Andreiuta is seeing but it could be an indication that it was an error and they're in the process of fixing it.

I got the same message as Andreiuta on 2 books, I think it's because those 2 were Geo restricted it let me add them to the library but not download.

Oh yes! Some really good stuff there, I jumped in with both feet and did a grabfest.
Pdurrant, you _were_ joking about emailing the publishers, I hope? Btw, Esprit de Corps may well be a candidate for funniest book ever..... |

I've still got a few to download, but did get an error on several titles (many give errors trying to open the page for the book, but adding to library from the search and downloading from the library works for most).
Did anyone manage to get "The Somme Stations"? I would love to read it, but it seems to be quite stubborn in giving out error messages. |
