Changing titles on threads

Will someone please clue me in on how you edit the title of a thread. As in, when you're providing a new version of a novel.

Both times I've done this I've thought I was changing the title, but when it was posted, the change didn't come through.

Click Edit. You can edit everything except the title. So then click Go Advanced. You can edit the title, too. At least I think you can.

Yes, this will change the title WITHIN the post's thread. However, the title as it appears in the level above i.e. Content forum listing, will remain unchanged.

So basically, the former (the title inside the thread) can be changed by the author whereas the latter (title in the Content forum listing) can only be changed by a Moderator/Wizard!

Just private message one of the Moderators and they can make that change for you.

Yes, I'm afraid that only mods can change thread titles.
