iPhone Best Buy, Mophie recall battery cases for iPhone, touch over possible fire hazard

Mophie has announced that approximately 6,118 units of its Juice Park Air for the iPod touch (4th generation) are included, pointing to a faulty integrated circuit switch as the root of a potential overheating issue.

Best Buy has a somewhat larger problem on its hands, with 32,000 battery cases for the iPhone 3G / 3GS distributed under its Rocketfish brand subject to the recall. Sold between April 2010 and this past September at Best Buy and Future Shop locations throughout the United States and Canada.

For some reason those numbers seem really low-I guess maybe the 3rd party market for battery cases isn't that big.
