Für alle, die die Kindle-App nicht über den Market herunterladen können, gibt es jetzt auch die Möglichkeit bei Chip.

Sorry, ist auch nur eine Weiterleitung zum Android-Market.

Mit diesen Programmen kann man interactive-fiction games spielen. Auf deutsch würde man sagen Text-Adventures. Vielleicht kennt jemand noch Infocom?

Das sind ZX Spectrum-Emulatoren. Ist das schon dreissig Jahre her?

ScummVM-SDL
Dies ist eine für Touchscreens angepasste Version von ScummVM. Endlich kann man rechtklicken!

Ich habe entdeckt, dass auch ebook.de (füher libri.de) eine eigene Android-App hat. Diese konnte ich auch mit meiner Adobe-Id freischalten. Alles doch problemloser als früher.

Die zuletzt gekauften Bücher waren auch noch zugänglich. Ich habe dort seit dem Kindle nicht mehr gekauft. Offenbar kann man dort jetzt auch alles synchronisieren.

Das Shoppen über den Sony ist auch möglich, also eine echte Alternative zu Amazon.

(Die App-Liste werde ich nicht mehr überarbeiten, einen Zugang zu Google Play sollte jetzt wohl jeder haben.)

Eigentlich könnte der Thread gelöscht werden.

Das ganze Thema wurde ursprünglich mal erstellt für die, die keinen Zugang zu Google Play haben. Die Liste wurde von mir auch seit 2011 nicht mehr weitergepflegt.

Lohnen würde sich vielleicht noch eine Liste der aktuellen Lese-Apps. Wenn da jemand möchte, nur zu.

Wenn sie noch genutzt wird, ist es ja gut, dann werde ich sie nochmal durchsehen, ob die Links noch aktuell sind und etwas überarbeiten.

Edit:

Ich habe die toten Links entfernt. Für die Übrigen möchte ich aber auch keine Garantie übernehmen, bzw. ist der Gebrauch der verlinkten App-Shops auf eigene Gefahr. (Betreiber können sich geändert haben.)

Ich würde diese Liste gerne splitten /erweitern bzw eine Neue anlegen.

Darauf sollten solche Apps, Spiele, Tools erscheinen, die auf E-ink Displays uneingeschränkt nutzbar sind, entweder im s/w Modus laufen oder zumindestens vom Kontrast her optimiert wurden.

Als die alte Liste erstellt wurde, war das offensichtlich nicht das Kriterium

Diese Liste war für die ersten günstigen Android-Tablets ohne Google Play erstellt worden, die Zeiten haben sich doch sehr geändert. Ich würde daher zu einer neuen Liste raten, wenn überhaupt.

Da dieses deutsche Unterforum bis auf wenige Threads fast tot ist, lohnt sich der Aufwand im Moment wohl leider nicht.
