Load a book using wifi only

I may be overlooking the obvious here but how do I load a (previously) purchased book sitting in "My Library" at the Kobo bookstore using only wifi? I do not currently have access to my regular computer.

Just tap the sync icon on the Home screen of your Touch. If you have not set up a wi-fi connection, a list of wi-fi hotspots will be presented for you to chose from.

Thanks, Joe. That will do the trick. But to clarify my original question, how can I load a particular book? Is that even possible?

No, that is not possible. For Kobo books it's all or nothing. You can selectively remove books from your library but you cannot selectively add books.

With non kepub books you can use calibre and enable the content server. You can then use the touch browser to add the books you want using wifi only.

Works like a charm!!!

Thanks for the tip.

I went one step further because I have an apache and I would like to serve my own books.

I tried just serving an .epub but the Kobo Touch browser (FW 1.9.9) displays a garbled page and hangs, no way to "save" the content.

So I took a look to how the Calibre server does it (HTTP headers) and I found this:

Code:
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Content-Length: 130676
Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="CalibreStartGuide.epub"
Server: calibre/0.8.15
Last-Modified: Sun, 21 Aug 2011 09:32:41 GMT
Date: Wed, 24 Aug 2011 06:57:51 GMT
Content-Type: application/epub+zip
So, I configured epub mime type at apache's mods-enables/mime.conf like this

Code:
AddType application/epub+zip .epub
And ready, apache is serving now my epubs perfectly and Kobo's browser downloads them.

Thanks,

/Luis

I have an issue downloading epub or pdf if content-type = application/octet-stream on sony readers. Is that an incorrect MIME to be used. Does that get recognized by reader
