Not sure I understand what's behind all the 'make it easy to pay' apps I've seen advertised lately. The easier it is to spend my money the less likely I am to save any. So why would I want to use these apps?

If it doesn't cost anything extra I'd rather pay through 1 system (Amazon) rather than many (who all then would have my personal and financial info).

Exactly. I can't even count how many places there are where I have an "account" even though I made one purchase there 8 years ago. I wish I could check out from every web store on earth using either Amazon or Google.
