Buchclub Extra: Die Lese-Challenge 2015

Auch im Jahr 2015 soll es wieder eine Challenge geben, bei der jeder mitmachen kann. Diesmal kann jeder selbst wählen, welches Leseziel er/sie sich setzen will. Es muss nicht besonders ehrgeizig sein, vielleicht nur eine Serie, die man endlich einmal beenden will? Oder die letzten ungelesenen Bücher eines Lieblingsautors lesen? Oder vielleicht unabhängig von der Anzahl der Bücher eine bestimmte Mindestseitenzahl bestimmen, die man am Ende des Jahres gelesen haben möchte?

Ein paar mehr Ideen:

für jedes Lebensjahr ein Buch lesen, das im betreffenden Jahr veröffentlicht wurde
einmal rund um die Welt lesen
je ein Buch aus jedem Land eines Kontinents lesen
den restlichen Papierstapel abtragen

Lasst eure Fantasie spielen und macht mit!

Im ersten Beitrag sammeln wir die Teilnehmer und verlinken die Listen, die ihr nach und nach aktualisieren könnt. Kommentare zur eigenen Liste oder zu den Beiträgen der anderen sind jederzeit willkommen. Ihr könnt auch zu den gelesenen Büchern Kommentare schreiben, aber das ist natürlich keine Pflicht.

Ihr seht, die Möglichkeiten sind sozusagen unendlich. Man muss auch nicht unbedingt gleich zu Jahresbeginn anfangen, jeder kann seinen Startzeitpunkt selbst bestimmen. Es soll schließlich keine "Lese-Olympiade" sein, bei der es am Schluss einen Sieger gibt, sondern wir wollen Spaß haben.

Hier zählt für mich jeweils das Jahr, in dem ein Buch ursprünglich erschienen ist, unabhängig von späteren Ausgaben, ganz gleich ob als Hörbuch oder als Übersetzung. Hörbücher werden hier ebenfalls mitgezählt, da ich so gut wie ausschließlich ungekürzte Bücher höre. Jedes Buch, das passt, zählt für alle Challenges. Mal sehen, wie weit ich kommen werde.

Ich spare mir nächstes Jahr meine Klassiker-Challenge, da die nicht wirklich passen - ich muss ja schon 56 Bücher für die Alters-Challenge lesen, und da ein Klassiker bei mir etwas älter sein muss als ich, lasse ich es sein.

Das mit den verschiedenen Nationen finde ich aber auch interessant, bin schon gespannt, was du dir da so aussuchen wirst.

Und glaub mir: Dein Englisch wird nach diesem Jahr einen gehörigen Aufschwung erfahren haben.

Das mit den verschiedenen Nationen finde ich aber auch interessant, bin schon gespannt, was du dir da so aussuchen wirst.
Das wird gar nicht mal so einfach werden, lese doch sehr anglophil. Da hätte ich aber dann ja auch schon USA, Kanada, GB, Australien und Irland. Skandinavien wäre auch kein Problem und der Rest ergibt sich dann.

Einmal rund um die Welt wäre schwieriger. Ansonsten: Frankreich, Spanien, Italien, Niederlande, Russland (?), Polen...

So, das erste Buch ist geschafft, es ist ein Anfang gemacht. Das Jahr 1998 ist mit Mary Doria Russells Children of God abgehakt. Das hatte ich zwar bereits im alten Jahr angefangen, aber wir wollen hier ja nicht päpstlicher sein als der Papst.

Worum es in diesem Buch geht, hatte ich ja schon im Thread "Welches Buch hört ihr gerade" gepostet. Insgesamt muss ich sagen, dass dieses Buch mir bei jedem Lesen/Hören besser gefallen hat. (Beim ersten Mal vor vielen Jahren hat mir ein Handlungselement nicht gefallen, über das ich inzwischen jedoch im Hinblick auf die Gesamtqualität großzügig hinwegsehe.)

Leider hat die Autorin seither keine Science Fiction mehr geschrieben, ich habe aber noch einen historischen Roman von ihr auf dem TBR, den ich dann hoffentlich dieses Jahr endlich lesen werde.

Was so eine ordentliche Grippe in den ersten Tagen des neuen Jahres doch so an Zeit mit sich bringen kann

Bin im letzten Drittel des "Feuerkelches" (HPIV) und habe mir nebenbei auch noch die ersten drei Filme angeschaut

Wäre aber trotzdem lieber Feiern und Arbeiten gegangen

Ich habe jetzt auch gerade mein 1. Buch beendet, dazu werde ich noch später etwas im Hörbuch-Thread schreiben. Ich habe gerade festgestellt, dass der Autor doch Brite ist, ich dachte eigentlich ich könnte die USA bei meiner Nationen-Challenge abhaken. Da mir das Hörbuch nicht besonders gefallen hatte, werde ich das Buch bei der Challenge ersetzen, sollte ich aus dem Jahr oder aus Great Britain noch etwas besseres in diesem Jahr lesen. Das hatte ich mir gerade so überlegt.

Ich hatte es jetzt erst mal aufgenommen, allerdings nur in der Jahres-Challenge. Ich denke aber auch, dass ich es noch ersetzen werde, es war dann einfach doch zu kurz.

Ich lese aber im Moment 3 dicke Schinken, die ich wohl nicht in diesem Monat schaffe, die werden mir etwas die Statistik versauen. Da brauche ich als Ausgleich mal etwas kürzeres.

Ich hatte mir auch vorgenommen, die Bücher zu ersetzen sollte ich noch etwas besseres lesen/hören aus dem gleichen Jahr, so dass eine möglichst gute Liste übrig bleibt.

Ich hatte doch von den günstigen gebrauchten Papierbüchern bei ebook.de erzählt und wenn man über 20 Euro kommt sind die dann auch noch Versandkostenfrei. In 3 Bestellungen in den letzten Monaten sind dann doch so 40 Bücher zusammengekommen.

Geht mir eigentlich genauso. Irgendwie war mir nicht richtig bewusst, war für ein dicker Schinken Airport ist, und der Krimi von Hakan Nesser hat auch über 500 Seiten. Und Mitte nächster Woche geht es lustig weiter mit einem fetten Baxter... Trotzdem habe ich heute noch ein Fantasy-Buch angefangen, irgendwie fehlte mir das derzeit in meiner "Sammlung".

Das finde ich eine gute Idee. Ich hatte mir auch kürzlich die Challenge von jemandem angesehen, der vor zwei Jahren die Alters-Challenge gemacht hat. Da standen bei einem Jahr auch mal zwei oder drei Bücher. Aber so viele werden bei mir dann wohl doch nicht zusammenkommen. Das funktioniert nur bei jüngeren Zeitgenossen.
