Preparing to go to a trade fair.

It's mostly to visit one of our suppliers who's got a stand, but we'll have a look around, too. The trade fair is focused on interior design (furninture, decorative things, lighting, etc), so I don't expect a lot of things that are interesting for us for the store. But it's good to get a feel what's trendy at the moment. I'm just hoping my father won't insist on visiting all the stands, even the ones that are of no interest to us (the reason why I rarely go to trade fairs with him).

Meanwhile I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we get a phone call from the animal shelter today.

Despite this morning's incredible monsoon storms, we're still doing OK. Sammie Cat woke me up at 4:30 am when the lighting & thunder started.

Willow waking me up at 4:30 is the only reason I got my car moved out of the path of the flood. I measured 6 feet of water where my car would have been.

I frequently have sympathy for some folks who get scammed; some of the scams today are fairly sophisticated, and I have a real hatred for romance scammers, who have hurt so many folks, but this? If someone clicks on this, seriously, they deserve to be scammed. A picture of my STD-infected Gadget, indeed! I'll show you an infected Gadget, bygod...
