Opening a Kindle Touch demo unit
Has anyone here with a Kindle Touch demo unit been able to open the back? I've never attempted to remove the back of a regular Touch and don't have access to one. I'm trying to pry it open with a thin piece of spring steel, but I can't even get that in anywhere. It seems like the rear is glued on.

I can't even get something into that place where he stuck the lever. There's a slip of paper that comes with the demo unit says "The back of the Kindle Touch is permanently adhered and cannot be removed".

That means it will not come off.

So don't take it off. Don't even try, you'll regret it.

Besides, why take it off?
