IMG inside SVG inside TD?

Hello,
does anyone know if it is it possible to put an image inside a table, and use a svg wrapper to have the image fill out the entire table cell...?

Making a (experimental) coding error is not an end of the world event.

RTFM for EPUB rules to save time. Be aware that just because it works in Sigils (or X's) viewer, does not mean it will have wide spread success

Save all Known good code, try your thing

If it blows up, crashes ....

Oh! Well! DISCARD

If it works

Save and test elsewhere before getting too carried away

I couldn't get it to work! So ... I think my solution would be either using some sort of DIV layout, or using tables with an image that are not inside a SVG. Somehow I trust tables more than div layout, so I think I go for this.

Be clear to yourself that anything successful will fail on a large number of devices, but if it works on yours, more power to you.
