Thanks, Greg! I'm currently in full-on dither mode about whether or not to buy a Kobo eReader, but I'm unequivocally delighted to see e-books making their way into NZ bookstores. Especially since a couple of mine are in the catalogue

The pricing they're quoting for e-books is much too high, though. Borders Oz has some free and low-cost books. I hope it's just an inaccuracy in the article.

However, the price we NZers end up paying for the device is $295 NZD

Urk, $295 is out of my comfort zone for a basic e-reader. Ah well, at least by pricing it so high they've helped me decide.

Nice! I paid 299 USD for my Sony 2 years ago and have loved it since then so $295 seems like a bargain
