Is there any way to let kindle only rotate PDF files?
As kindle just have a 6" screen, it's very hard to read pdf files in portrait mode.
So I have to read them in landscape mode. But when I decide to read another book in mobi format. I have to manually rotate it back to portrait mode. And then, rotate to landscape mode to read pdf files. This is kind of annoying. Why kindle doesn't just remember I read pdf in landscape mode and others in portrait mode. Thanks. |

You need to let Amazon know your suggestions.
There is no way for the k3 to automatically rotate. If that feature is this important to you, perhaps yo should consider upgrading to a DX. If you are within the 30 day exchange period, you can send this one back and get the DX. Use their contact/feedback page. http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/custom...deId=200503360 |

But, I'm in China, so there is no way/easy way to send it back. I have contacted the Amazon kindle customer service, and suggest them at least remember the rotate status of each book. |

If it can remember where I am in a book I guess there could be a way to remember which rotation I left the book in. It can never hurt to ask Amazon, though asking the same question twice and expecting a different answer is pretty odd. As I indicate, it is beating the proverbial dead horse.
