I guess I never replied to this thread after my original post. I ended up going with the lightwedge. I found it online for $49.99. I'm so glad I got that. I use it even in the daytime, it's nice to have that extra bit of light. And, so far I haven't seen any scratches on it or the screen. I just clean both with a cloth that they sell with eyeglass cleaner.
