Freedom by Franzen - does your library have it?
Neither NYPL nor BPL carry Freedom by Jonathan Franzen in ebook format. I have requested three books for BPL and they have purchased the other two (yay!) but not this one. It is published by FSG. I did a search on Overdrive and it is available:

so it puzzles me that my library is not carrying this extremely popular novel. What's up with that? Does your library carry it?

Mystery solved! I couldn't figure out how it could be in the Overdrive catalog and yet not available. I didn't even know that Overdrive serves areas outside the US.
