It depends on the font, and the kerning - there can be some space between r and n, or almost none at all (also depends on print and paper quality). Unfortunately you cannot simply search and replace, there can be a genuine comer in the text ... Just to point out (not to you, but to those who haven't yet made the experience) that it's always a lot of work to turn OCR output into something reasonably free of errors.
