What does it mean, that still dead?

My update process also went wrong. During the restore there was everything fine. See attached output. Restore Done Success (1) Fail(0)
I heard the windows sound of unplugging and plugging a device. Even I have an almost empty LIKEBOOK drive with 13.5GB of storage. The main problem is that the screen is completely dead. See attached photo.

Any ideas?

Has anyone the original 1.0.x firmwares in img format?

Thanks

I notice you’re using ver 1.7 of the batch tool. Have you tried using ver 1.8? While it shouldn’t make a difference, weirder things have happened.

Yes I know. That is why I have flashed the img with RK Batch Tool. I have never updated with the device System Update method.
But the result is as I've mentioned.

The link on page 1 is a zip file. How can I convert it to img?

thanks

Ok. My bad. I had checked only the BoyueLikeBookPlusT80sUpdateV1.0.2-2018010215.zip file which is an update zip.
But BoyueLikeBookPlusT80sUpdateV1.0.1-2017111118.zip has the img file and an update.zip in it.

Anyway. I have flashed 1.0.1 img. But same result.

Some update:
I have tried 1.0.1-2017111118 as well. I have used several tools including windows and linux as well. All is the same. Uploading the image ends with success, but no screen.

I am 100% sure, that the touch input is working. I can disconnect the usb storage just by randomly tapping the screen.

Maybe I can update from 2018052616 to the latest 2018081714 version (posted by Neru). I can copy anything to the internal storage, and reboot the device as well, but I don't know where to touch the screen after the boot to start the update.
Can anybody take a video about this process?

Or I shall wait for a newer img.

Thanks

For me reflashing worked. Did you use "Restore" button? I think it should had been the "Upgrade" one. To make sure you used an intact .img file, I attach checksum of the one I used. The function to calculate it should be added to windows file manager menu by installing 7z

I have tried restore and upgrade. None of them work.
The checksum is the same.

Have you tried restoring the device with rkdump tool? https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=291342
Also there are another img 1.0.2 2018060114 If none works maybe it might be a hardware problem?

Hi Neru!

THIS IS THE RIGHT FIRMWARE!!!

If anybody has screen issue like me, could try with the following combination:

DriverAssitant_v4.4

AndroidTool v2.35 (same as RK Tool))

Firmware (posted by Neru): 1.0.2 2018060114

Thanks

Hi i'm new of the thread and i don't know if i'm writing in the right post, but i'm having some issues with my likebook plus, i'm running the firmware1.0.2. When i try to use a bluetooth keyboard (i tried with different one and all of them works fine on other device) it just disconnect every 5 second.
So i tried with a usb mini keyboard connected with an otg usb adaptor, but the likebook doesn't seem to recognize it at all. I tried also with a pen drive but nothing.
The likebook should recognize the usb device plug and play or i have to install some app or root it to activate the otg function?
Thanks in advance
