I would instantly subscribe. Unfortunately, Hulu is still discriminating against non-US viewers ...

I know-it is so stupid! They have a huge untapped market out there. And unlike books and movies, they can't really have the same geographic publishing restrictions for local TV shows, can they? Or, maybe they do. Still seems crazy to ignore the global desires for this stuff-just drop in local ads, charge for subtitles, seems like a great missed opportunity.

So re-sell them. Why is it so hard? They already air on the networks here in Canada. All we need is the mobile architecture. HGTV Canada is the only network to have an iPad app so far that plays free shows.

http://videosift.com/talk/Review-of-...Blocked-Videos http://www.how-to-hide-ip.info/2009/...om-outside-us/ HotspotShield which is very popular has been blocked by Hulu several times, I don't know the status as of today, if they are still blocked. Last edited by thinkpad; 06-29-2010 at 03:50 PM. |

The free app is available now, and it even has a free gallery of shows to try it out. Quality looks good on wifi on the iPad.
