Question Ebook format converter

I recently bought a number of ebooks from a site that specializes in fiction ebooks http://www.the-plot-thickens.com

The problem is that they are all in mobireader format. Is there any software freely available that can be used to convert the format for use on other devices, in particular to a PDA device?

There is a wiki entry on this site highlighting all the available converters and all the software readers. There is certainly a mobipocket reader available for PDA's.

Hello...
Try to download file in a PDF format because in most of PC or mobile you will find software to read that file.
But suppose you are not getting file in PDF format than you will convert that file online in PDF format...

Well, absolutely not!

There is a nice and easy way to convert Mobipocket files (Calibre), but PDF conversion is very hard and never really clean. Especially on a smaller screen, PDFs are not really a good idea.

I was going through and throwing out old CD-Rom archives, transferring the good stuff to DVD and Blu-Ray, and I stumbled across about twenty eBooks in the Rocketbook .rb format and a scattered few in .etd and .lit.

Is there any way to convert the Rocketboook files?

rbburst from rbmake on sourceforge.net, RbDisintegrator.exe from BookDesigner available here and/or RB2Project from eBook Technologies.

All these will extract the .html and images (B&W) used to create the .rb. From there, convert them to your desired book format(s)...

If you are comfortable with command line programs and would like to convert a lot of .rb files to .html, then I would recommend rbburst.

Thanks for the quick response, I will definitely grab those both and test them tonight. I use the command line all the time in Linux so that's not an issue.

Thanks again!
