embedding fonts in Editor - seems broken calibre 3.6

Hi all,

trying to embed fonts in Editor -

Tools -> Manage Fonts
+ Install fonts
- select corresponding .ttf file
[-] click refresh

Font dosen't show up in list and neither is it embedded in the epub file,

is this an expected behavior?

- the example i show has already 3 fonts embedded - I try to add 2 more

The Install fonts button simply makes the font available to calibre for embedding, in case the font is not installed in the system fonts.

To actually embed a font you need to first create a css rule referencing it and then use the embed all fonts button. Or alternatively use File->New file (images/fonts/etc.) to first embed the font and then add the CSS that actually uses it.

I know we can add fonts to the fonts list. How do we remove fonts we've added that we no longer want in the list?

I just delete them from the book browser,. just like any other file.
Then I remove the @fonts from the CSS
