I have used several different cables in the past year. All New 3 from Kobo & 2-3 from Amazon. I have several different Adaptors for SD Card I swapped around this past week.

Hardware is fine I 99% sure its a software headache

If we're trying to help you with the KOBO SD card why are you linking to an issue in the Amazon forum?

For instance when you have the SD card in the adaptor connected to your PC does the Windows Device Manager show any unknown devices?

What shows up for USB connected devices?

Yes I suggested this step a while back, but she never reported back.

Dear Barbara, Please do the following only and report back your findings;

0). Unplug all memory devices from your PC and restart it, Then...
1). Plug the single SD card into your windows PC,
2). Open windows explorer,
3). Does the card show in explorer,
IF NO do step 4;

4). In Task Bar search type in; windows memory diagnostic
5). Execute (single or double click on) windows memory diagnostic,
6). Execute the first diagnostic option, (recommended).

let windows do its automatic procedure, make some tea.
After your PC has restarted open explorer, Is your device listed ?. Yes or NO.

This will totally wipe out the SD card

That worked Tried it & now the PC says its there and has 29.7 free space out of 32
