Bookerly uneven characters
With 5.14.1.1 firmware in the latest Paperwhite, the types are uneven with some font sizes (5 and 6). For example the 'o' is taller than the rest of the characters, and the spacing is uneven too. With other sizes it does not happen. Anyone?

The only thing you could try is to extract Bookerly from the Kindle firmware, add hinting and put it in the font directory and see if the Kindle picks up the side loaded version instead of the version that comes with the firmware. If it does not, you could change the internal and external names of the hinted version of Bookerly and side load that. |
