No concerts for me, but I do have a very yummy brownie made by my lovely husband (known in these parts as "the muffin man" not because he makes muffins that often, but because he does bake a lot and who sings a song like "She's married to the scone man"?)

Anyway, this batch of brownies has a secret ingredient. No, not THAT secret ingredient. Actually there are two secret ingredients, and I am about to violate that secrecy by telling you what they are:

Half a teaspoon of hungarian hot paprika, half a teaspoon of cayenne pepper.

Oh, and a layer of dark chocolate melted on top.

Yum!

Yes, but they tend to get a bit "claw-ish" when you shower them off.

yeah yeah yeah, i know, the photos are terrible. we were in the "cheap" (everything being relative...) seats. you'll just have to take my word. would i lie about something like that ? the answer is no. i would not.

you know, the concert last night was almost too much joy for me (at the end of it, real tears of happiness streaming down my cheeks as the entire theater stood ovationing and shouting and whistling). if you add chocolate to that i don't think i would survive.

what a way to go though, right ?
