Bricked iLiad after badly done reflash ?

Hi everybody. I have a problem with my iLiad (v2.12). He was in never ending reboot loop. After reading about the reflash method from Adam B., I inserted a compact flash card in the unit, with the "format" instruction.
At the end of the flashing process, I mistakely move the "blocker" of the cf card. I suppose that this prevented the unit to complete the process, since the device froze. After trying a restart, the boot process didn't initialized (the progress bar doesn't fill up).
The reboot method using Connect & Power button togethers works, and the Reset button too. Each time the device try to start, the led becomes green, and nothings happens, I need to reset the device with the Reset button.
I have the .log file of the format on my CF card if needed.

Does anybody does if there's anything possible apart sending it back to iRex ?
If so, do you know how much it will cost ?

Thanks

Post the log if you can.

What "blocker" are you talking about? Does the CF card have a write protect tab?

I'll send the log tomorrow. I'm in the wifi room of sigchi and doesn't have access to the card here.
When I say "blocker", I mean the little piece of black plastic that we can put vertical when a cf card is inserted in his slot.

Odd, looks like all went well.

Can you try to perform a reflash again?

I inserted the compact flash card, after having the iLiad charge a night. When I use the "Power on" button, the green light lightens up, the bootscreens shows up too, but nothing happens (the boot up bar doesn't fill). The green led stay on still. Using the reset button doesn't provide any help. I think I need to send it back to iRex...

Same issue

Hi

I had the same issue you described.

I could reflash my iRex. (After that the writing pen got hyper sensible?)

-> When I re install the developer package the device restart to reboot.
Issue seems to be reproducible.

I think that we must wait for a new iRex Release.

Cheer,
Gabriele
