Free (Kindle/Kobo UK) Everything to Lose by Andrew Gross [Crime Conspiracy Thriller]

Everything to Lose by popular thriller novelist Andrew Gross (SYKM, Wikipedia) is a standalone crime conspiracy thriller featuring a beleaguered mother who gives in to the temptation to grab a bag of much-needed cash from an accident scene and soon finds herself in deep danger from the people on its trail, free courtesy of publisher HarperCollins' un-collinated Harper imprint.

This seems to have been originally released as some sort of chaptered serial, but this version is the entire novel in full.

Currently free @ Amazon UK, & Kobo (most likely only available to the UK). Will likely also drop within a day or two @ B&N UK, if the recent pattern for HarperCollins UK freebies holds, and possibly also iTunes UK as well (sorry, no linkage provided since it's a different edition which doesn't exist in the Canada store).

May or may not cross the pond. This exists in the same edition in North America at Amazon, at least, but thus far we've had a pretty low success rate for the transmigration of HarperCollins UK freebies.

Description
WHEN YOU HAVE EVERYTHING TO LOSE
YOU STOP PLAYING BY THE RULES

Hilary Cantor’s life is falling apart. She has lost her job, is about to lose her house, and is running out of money to care for her young son with Asperger’s syndrome.

But when Hilary is first on the scene of a fatal car accident, she finds a satchel full of cash on the backseat – enough to solve all of her problems. Her split-second decision has devastating consequences…

Because the money she takes is at the heart of a conspiracy involving murder, blackmail and a powerful figure who’ll do anything to keep the past buried. They don’t just want their money back: they want Hilary’s life – and that of her son…
