That is impossible on a normal android device. The only key event that an app can't manage is the "home button". If the system ignores application management of the back button then is just a broken system and can't be called Android.

That's not new on "android" e-ink devices, which are broken by design. Here's an example: https://github.com/koreader/android-...y.kt#L329-L337

BTW, you should uninstall the test APK (signed with my keys) and get the last release from https://github.com/koreader/koreader...s/tag/v2020.06 to be able to update to future versions normally.
