Darren, good tips, thanks. We saw two other good stories on changing landscape of bookery:

3. The Nation discusses E-Reader challenges in Thailand re: "Good old books face threat from e-readers", which was an editorial that appeared in the Nation newspaper in Bangkok in English. 11-15-09

4. from South Korea newspaper: Yang Sung-jun discusses the Korean Book Industry and how it is grappling with the shift to e-books. 11-15-09

I lost the links but google can find them in 2 secs. Both were spotted at Kindle International Review.
