Any new thoughts on icon cover thumbnails?
Conversion from EPUB to MOBI in Kindlegen makes a file that catalogues in e.g. Kindle Reader with a thumbnail of the cover.
A conversion done in Calibre shows the generic icon. No problems with the actual book and its readability. But my customers want the cover picture display! Any ideas on what Kindlegen is doing that Calibre isn't? I've found a few opinions on the forums how to make Calibre embed the picture, but none of them check out. |

Tick the share not sync option in the MOBI output settings in the conversion dialog.
