help with layout please

I´m using
Dreamweaver MX 2004
iSiloX 4.01
POSE

I´m wrighting the pages in DW.
Tags I´m using:
<BR>, "non-braking space", <table>, <P>,
unorderd lis, orderd list.
But I´m not satisfied with the layout after I convertwith iSiloX. Amoung other thing it´s strange divide into syllables. Now I wounder if it is a god practice to create a singel column table with width of the screen of a palm (= 150 pixels) and cells with hight = 140 pixels?
Or should I use css? If so could someone please give me some code?

Or doing so before iSiloX do its stuff will f**k upp my HTML-code?

Thanx in advance
Peter

I wouldn't use fixed-width tables, since PDA screens vary. CSS is not fully supported by iSilo (though you might try it). If you want, attach an example of your pages here, so we can have a closer look at what could be improved.
